How to create a shop

A "shop" is EMDECS one's name for any place technicians do work. As well as actual repair locations, you can also list shops like mobile repair shops. Individual technicians are then assigned to the shop or shops where they do work. You can also create separate parts inventory warehouses and attach them to each shop if you'd like to track their inventory separately.

Begin by selecting the Shops item from the left-hand menu bar. This will show you a list of all the shops that have already been set up. If this is the first shop being added to EMDECS one, the list will be empty.

Click the New Shop button. This opens a blank form for you to fill in the shop's information:
