Release Notes for October 2026 EMDECS KONA Update

Sequence Description

1.

 Fixed an issue where, when printing part labels via the Physical Count screen, only one label would print even if the quantity to print was set to a different value.

 2. 

Upgraded the Profit & Loss Export report to include three new columns:

  • Total Cost (Labour Cost + Parts Cost + Shop Cost + Surcharge Cost)
  • Total Sublet (Labour Sublet + Parts Sublet + Shop Sublet + Surcharge Sublet
  • Total Charge (Labour Charge + Parts Charge + Shop Charge + Surcharge Charge)

3.

Added an informational pop-up to the Complete RO > Work order details screen so that, if you try to delete a serialized part from a work order where that part is being ordered in an as-yet-unreceived purchase order, EMDECS will remind the user that it must be removed from the purchase order before it can be deleted.

 Add label printing functionality to the Warehouse Stock tab and Part Locations tab of the Warehouse Manager screen. As with other screens’ label printing functionality, this is via a new column named Print Label containing print icons. 

5.

Fixed an issue where, on the Service Board’s Work In Progress tab, a technician could be shown as actively working on more than one labour item simultaneously (i.e., their name is displayed in bold in the Assigned To column).
